Public Transportation and Emory Shuttles
MARTA
Atlanta's mass transit system is MARTA (Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority). MARTA operates a coordinated system of
bus and train lines for access to all of Atlanta and the metro area. Exact change ($1.75) or tokens are required. For more

The Emory campus is accessible from the Lindbergh MARTA station and the Edgewood/Candler Park station on the #6 Emory
bus. Details on the #6 Emory Bus can be found at: www.itsmarta.com/getthere/schedules/6.htm.
From Airport: Take any train northbound to the Lindbergh MARTA station, and take the #6-Emory bus to
the Emory campus.
Follow the directions for each venue below:
Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts: Get off Bus #6 at the corner of Clifton Road and North Decatur
Road. The Center is on the northwest corner.
Mary Gray Munroe Theater: (Dobbs University Center, 3rd Floor), 605 Asbury Circle. Take Bus #6 to the
intersection of Clifton Road and Haygood Drive/Asbury Drive. Walk down Asbury Drive and take your first left at the stop
sign onto Means Drive. Once you pass Means and Longstreet Hall, the Dobbs University Center will be the next building on
your right after the small parking lot.
Glenn Memorial Auditorium: 1652 North Decatur Road. Take Bus #6 to the corner of Clifton Road and North
Decatur Road. Walk west down North Decatur Road towards the BP gas station. Glenn Memorial Auditorium will be on your right.
Performing Arts Studio: 1804 North Decatur Road. Take Bus #6 to the corner of Clifton Road and North
Decatur Road. Go east on North Decatur towards the Law School. You will pass the Law School and cross Burlington Road. The
Performing Arts Studio (a brick building with a steeple) will be on your left.
Michael C. Carlos Museum: 571 Kilgo Circle. Take Bus #6 to the corner of Clifton Road and North Decatur
Road. Walk west down North Decatur Road towards the BP gas station, then turn right onto Dowman Drive, which is at the main
Emory gate. Turn at the second right onto S. Kilgo Circle, and the museum will be on your left.
Cannon Chapel: 515 Kilgo Circle. Take Bus #6 to the corner of Clifton Road and North Decatur Road. Walk
west down North Decatur Road towards the BP gas station. Turn right onto Dowman Drive at the main Emory gate. Continue along
Dowman Drive, past the Administration Building. Follow the sidewalk that runs between White Hall and the Administration Building.
Walk onto the main quadrangle, and continue straight past the Pitts Theology Library. Cannon Chapel will be on the left,
set back from the quad.
CCTMA (Clifton Corridor Transportation Management Association) Shuttle
This shuttle is free to everyone (employees, visitors, students, etc.) Look for the CCTMA bus stop signs along Clifton
Road. For more information, visit www.cctma.com/index.htm.
Bike Racks
Bike racks are located near each performance venue. For Emory Bicycle

Emory Shuttles
Emory provides several complimentary shuttle routes to help you get
around campus and ease the level of motor traffic. All Emory campus
shuttles are accessible to persons with mobility impairments. Accessible
shuttle stops are designated with the international emblem of the wheelchair
on the shuttle stop pole. Shuttles are free and easy to access with
four routes that can take you around campus and beyond. Shuttles generally
