Directions To Campus

From Downtown Atlanta and Hartsfield International Airport
Take Interstate 85 North to Clairmont Road (exit #91). Proceed south on Clairmont Road about four miles to North Decatur Road. Turn right and follow North Decatur Road to campus.

From Interstate 285
From any direction, exit I-285 at Hwy 78/SR410/ Stone Mountain Freeway (exit #39A) and go west, toward Decatur. Move into the left two lanes, where the sign reads "To Lawrenceville Highway-Decatur." Proceed about two miles to North Decatur Road. Turn right on North Decatur Road to campus.

From Interstate 85
Take Interstate 85 to Clairmont Road (exit #91). Proceed south on Clairmont Road about four miles to North Decatur Road. Turn right and follow North Decatur Road to campus.

From Interstate 75
Whether coming from north or south, look for the junction of I-75 and I-85 on the north side of downtown. Take I-85 North to Clairmont Road (exit #91). Proceed south on Clairmont Road about four miles to North Decatur Road. Turn right on North Decatur Road to campus.

From Interstate 20
Exit I-20 at Moreland Avenue North (exit #60) just east of downtown. Proceed north on Moreland Avenue approximately four miles to North Decatur Road. (Note that at the intersection of Moreland and Ponce de Leon, the street name changes from Moreland to Briarcliff Road.) Turn right on North Decatur Road to campus.

Free parking is available on weekends and after 5pm on weekdays in Fishburne, Peavine, and Lowergate South parking decks. Paid visitor parking is available twenty-four hours a day and is designated by a * on the map.

The availability of parking in the Fishburne Parking Deck may be limited. When attending events at Glenn Memorial Auditorium, Schwartz Center, Carlos Museum, or Cannon Chapel, please allow extra time to find alternative parking.

Schwartz Center, 1700 North Decatur Road

From N. Decatur Rd, turn onto Dowman Drive, which is at the main Emory gates at the three-way intersection. Take your first right onto Fishburne Drive. Proceed one block, and Fishburne Parking deck will be on your right. Enter at the first entrance during weekdays or the second entrance during weekends or evenings. The Schwartz Center is located next door to Fishburne Parking Deck on Fishburne Drive. If Fishburne Deck is full, Lowergate South Deck is recommended.
To get to Lowergate South deck, From N. Decatur Road, turn north onto Clifton Road towards Emory University Hospital. Take the first right onto Gambrell Drive. Go about a block, and Lowergate Parking Deck will be on your right. The entrance is in the back of the deck.
To walk from Lowergate South Deck (approximately 3 blocks)
Exit Lowergate South Deck's southwest stairwell (stairs closest to Law School). Take Gambrell Drive toward Clifton. Cross Clifton and continue on Fishburne curves left), pass Goizueta Business School, and the Schwartz Center will be on the left. Enter on N. Decatur side near box office and patron drop-off area.


Mary Gray Munroe Theater (Dobbs University Center, 3rd Floor), 605 Asbury Circle

From N. Decatur Road, turn north onto Clifton Road towards Emory University Hospital. Turn left onto Asbury Circle. At the second stop sign, turn right onto Fraternity Row. Peavine Parking Deck will be on your right after a couple of blocks.
From Peavine Parking Deck, walk across the street (Fraternity Row) toward the Woodruff P.E. Center. Walk around the left side of the P.E. Center, following the sidewalk that runs between the tennis courts and building. Once you pass the P.E. Center, cross Asbury Circle to enter the front door of Dobbs University Center.
From Front Door of Dobbs University Center to Mary Gray Munroe
Enter the front door and take the spiral staircase or the elevator up one level. To reach the box office, walk through the Coca-Cola Commons and down the hallway to the right of the old building's façade. Pass the game rooms and take either set of stairs (in a "V") to the next level. If an elevator is needed, it is at the end of the hall. If you already have your tickets in hand, you may enter the theater directly through the entrance at the top of the steps in the old building's façade.


Glenn Auditorium, 1652 North Decatur Road

From N. Decatur Rd, turn onto Dowman Drive, which is at the main Emory gates at the three-way intersection. Take your first right onto Fishburne Drive. Proceed one block, and Fishburne Parking deck will be on your right. Enter at the first entrance during weekdays or the second entrance during weekends or evenings.
From Fishburne Parking Deck, exit the parking deck, turn left and walk along Fishburne Drive. Pass Glenn School on the left and Mizell Drive on the right. The auditorium/church is a large off-white building with columns on the left.


Performing Arts Studio, 1804 North Decatur Road

From N. Decatur Road, turn north onto Clifton Road towards Emory University Hospital. Take the first right onto Gambrell Drive. Go about a block, and Lowergate Parking Deck will be on your right. The entrance is in the back of the deck.
From Lowergate South Parking Deck to the Performing Arts Studio, use the exit/stairwell nearest the North Decatur Building (eastern end of the parking deck on the same side as the entrance). Walk around the right side of the North Decatur Building to North Decatur Road. Go east (left) on North Decatur to Burlington Road. Cross Burlington and continue straight to the Performing Arts Studio (a brick building once used as a church) at 1804 North Decatur Road on the left.

Walking Directions to Carlos Museum from Fishburne Parking Deck
Take Fishburne Drive to the left out of the parking deck. Go right on Mizell Drive, cross the bridge, and the Museum will be straight ahead.


Visual Arts Building and Gallery, 700 Peavine Creek Drive

From N. Decatur Road, turn north onto Clifton Road towards Emory University Hospital. Turn left onto Asbury Circle. At the second stop sign, turn right onto Fraternity Row. Peavine Parking Deck will be on your right after a couple of blocks. The Visitor parking lot is adjacent to Peavine Parking Deck. Park in the Visitor lot on weekdays. Peavine Parking Deck and "P2" spaces will be open to the public on the weekends and after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. A limited number of "P2" spaces are located in the parking lot adjacent to the Visual Arts Building and Gallery and nearby on Fraternity Row.
From Peavine Parking Deck, exit the deck/lot to the left onto Fraternity Row. Fraternity Row will curve. Turn left onto Peavine Creek Drive. Continue downhill and then slightly uphill (Chappell Park baseball field will be on your left). As you reach the stone roadway gates, the visual arts facility is the copper and concrete structure on the right atop the hill. The walk from Peavine Deck to the facility takes approximately five minutes.


Goodrich C. White Hall, 480 Kilgo St

From N. Decatur Rd, turn onto Dowman Drive, which is at the main Emory gates at the three-way intersection. Take your first right onto Fishburne Drive. Proceed one block, and Fishburne Parking deck will be on your right. Enter at the first entrance during weekdays or the second entrance during weekends or evenings.
From Fishburne Parking Deck,
exit the parking deck, turn left and walk along Fishburne Drive. Pass Glenn School and Church on the left. At the end of the street, turn right onto Dowman Drive. White Hall will be the second building on your right, just past the Administration Building.


Cannon Chapel, 515 Kilgo Circle

From N. Decatur Road, turn north onto Clifton Road towards Emory University Hospital. Turn left onto Asbury Circle. At the second stop sign, turn right onto Fraternity Row. Peavine Parking Deck will be on your right after a couple of blocks.
From Peavine Parking Deck, take Fraternity Row to Dickey Drive. Turn left onto Pierce and walk up the hill towards Tarbutton Hall. Take the stairs on your right between Tarbutton Hall and the Anthropology Building. Walk toward the Callaway Center, and turn right on the walkway. The Psychology Building will be on your right and Cannon Chapel directly in front of you.
