Coca-Cola Artist Residencies
Community Partnerships
While Emory Coca-Cola Artists in Residence focus many of their efforts on teaching Emory
students in the performing arts, the Schwartz Center has joined with area organizations to help bring their gifts far beyond
the Emory University campus. The
Coca-Cola grant provides a range of benefits to the community, from free or discounted tickets and group transportation to
off-campus performances by resident artists. Our community partners work with us to reach the widest audience possible,
including at-risk youth, economically disadvantaged families and schools, senior citizens, and people with disabilities.
Current community partners include:
Dekalb Office of Arts, Culture, and Entertainment
French Consulate of Atlanta
Georgia State University’s Rialto Center for Performing Arts
Public Broadcasting Atlanta
Public Schools in Metropolitan Atlanta
Volunteers of America
Vision, Strength, Access (VSA) Arts of Georgia
Young Audiences, Woodruff Arts Center
To become a community partner, representatives of education, health and human services, after-school, and arts organizations
may contact the Schwartz Center Programming Office at (404) 727-8769.
