About Arts at Emory

Student Arts Organizations

The Emory College Council charters over fifty student-run arts organizations ranging from comedy improv and musical theater to world dance to a cappella groups. Groups present concerts, exhibitions, publications, and productions throughout the year in a variety of venues. Groups are open to all Emory undergraduate students and typically hold information sessions and/or auditions at the beginning of each semester. For a complete listing for student-run arts groups and links to more information, click here.

The Artists’ Palette: Student Guide to the Arts at Emory is an online resource with in-depth information about how to get involved and contribute to the arts. It includes guidelines for requesting space, displaying work, organizing events, and contacting various arts groups. To obtain a copy, click here.

The Rosemary Magee Intern in the Arts, an employee of the Emory College Center for Creativity & Arts, is a great resource for students who have arts-related ideas for the Emory community or need advice on event planning, publicity, organizing a student group, and other arts resources at Emory. They are a liaison between students and administrators. To contact the intern, email: artsintern@learnlink.emory.edu.
